For chefs
Your home kitchen, on Lammma.
Lammma shows your kitchen to the people around it, and orders arrive with a bell. The food and its money stay between you and the person ordering.
The fee, exactly
- No fee until the first completed order.
- The first 30 days after it: no fee.
- Then 5% of the dish subtotal on each completed order, with no cap.
- The fee comes out of prepaid credit. There is no subscription.
- Delivery fees and deposits never carry a fee.
- An order that is declined, expires or is cancelled never carries a Lammma fee.
- Credit can go down to minus 150 EGP. Below that, the kitchen stops receiving new orders until the credit is topped up; orders already in progress carry on.
- This credit pays Lammma's fee only: it cannot be transferred to anyone or paid out as cash.
- Unused credit is refunded on request if the kitchen closes, as the Terms of service describe.
- Credit is added by a transfer made outside the app, with the receipt uploaded in the app.
How an order works
- A kitchen may ask for a deposit of up to 50% of the order total, as it sets; the amount shows before the order is sent.
- Chefs cook, then deliver themselves or offer pickup from the kitchen.
What chefs commit to
- An accurate menu and prices, with allergens in every dish description.
- Following the food safety policy.
- Keeping the kitchen's hours and answering every order within 20 minutes.
- Fulfilling an accepted order as shown and at the price shown.
- Selling nothing but home-cooked food: no alcohol, tobacco or medicines.
